A horde of women dressed in black invade the area with their cries and the experience is so powerful that it eliminates all sense of time.
To create his new show entitled Corbeaux [Crows], the Moroccan choreographer Bouchra Ouizguen was inspired by Persian literature from the 9th-12th centuries, an era when the madman and his words, both candid and wise, had their place in society. His memories of long nights spent in trance mark the surface of these bodies filled since childhood with the Issawa and Hmadcha rituals from the region of Marrakech.
